Private sale you'd be looking to get 95-97K for it on a perfect day with someone who really loved the car. Dealer would give under 90K
You'd be looking at 105K if it had around 10K miles or less
All the stuff you added after the 147K sticker is a lost investment. Count that as a bonus for the next guy.

Thank you for your opinions, I value them.
It's truly an amazing car, love the MT and the sound of the exhaust with the AWE. I just got a GT3 that's the only reason I'm thinking of selling. Still undecided.

Gives you a bit of a different drive the than GT3. They both have their highlights. Hard choice and decisions!

Well I have a 2014 4s and it is pretty close to yours. MSRP was 145k. Mine has 12k miles red over black leather with red stitching. Dealer offered me cough cough 90k for trade! After cussing them out they came up to 95 but won't go any higher than this. They prob can sell it certified for 105 maybe. These cars have taken a beating. I'm done buying non GT Porsche models. They don't hold their value well. My car is going in for my gt4 which should be here next month. Congrats on the gt3. Arena red right?

The percentage depreciation drop for Porsches is pretty much in line with most other brands but because of their initial expense the dollar drop hurts more. I'm sure I'm not the only chronic car flipper here and you almost always chalk up a big loss in the first few years.
I expect the 991 will perform similarly to the 997. Drop a lot in the first few years then taper off, price of admission to the 911 club is still pretty high.

You have the 4S with the creature comforts, bells/whistles, manual, a very fast car, back seats, and killer exhaust at any speed.
The GT3 with the PDK S, rawness, 9K redline, and even faster car even standing still.
I looked at both. Wanted the rear seats to take my kids for memorable rides. Difference in price was a consideration too. But as noted, at this time, the GT cars are doing much much better in holding value. That's GT as in above GTS ..
The "street" 991's take a BEATING in depreciation. Best value is buying a GT4 or GT3 if looking to minimize deprecation at this point.
The appeal of the "hot for sale pick of the week" thread.

I've been shopping for a 2013 C2S or C4S for a bit. Current ask prices at the Texas dealers for 2013 CPO'd cars are in the 68-70% of MSRP range, although there are some listed for more. The ones listed at that level are selling, but the ones listed higher are sitting on the lots. I know the ones listed at the 68-70% level can be bought for a bit less. I would expect the private sale price would be lower since the warranty remaining is more limited. Of course, trade prices would be significantly less.
