Default New to the family - '13 C2 991

I picked up a CPO Porsche 911 C2 this weekend, my very first Porsche ever. Could not be any happier, the car was optioned very well and Porsche of Tampa gave me an awesome price.

I do have a few questions for fellow members;

1) So I have PDF and the car seems to lurch a little when I am on a incline and stopped. So what I mean is if I am on an incline (looking up a hill) and I take my foot off the break the car jumps forwards and stops... then starts to roll. Is this normal? Should I have dealer look at it?

2) Is there any way to retro-fit or install backup camera? Sucks not having it.

3) What are you guys doing for oil changes? Dealer told me I am good for 10K miles but that seems really high between changes.

4) Is there a way to program the exit seat position (what it goes into when you open door)? What it does now makes little no sense for exiting the vehicle lol

Congrats on the new 911, Mike.

I change my oil every 5,000 miles.

Your dealer is also correct.

Congrats, looks great. Yes, you can config the seat to 'exit' upon shut off and opening door. It's in the configuration menu.

Congrats!

Love your car. I'm hoping to purchase the same before the end of the year.

What an absolute beauty your car is. I really like the stainless/chrome trim around your windows.

More so I mean can you set what position that is. When I open the door the car seat moves back 1/2" and lowers. Would like to change its overall position for EXIT.

When I configure the menu for exit, upon opening the door, the seat moves all the way back and the steering wheel moves all the way inward and upward, allowing easy exit. Not sure if there is an option to configure the seat/wheel travel anything beyond the standard memory config.

Very nice acquisition, especially for your first Porsche. Enjoy.

Congrats on your purchase. I like the color combo and the window trim is not something you see much of....Nice job.
I am picking up a 13' CPO Amaranth Red C2 next week and cannot wait.

Yeah thats my frustration. When I open the door my wheel does not move at all and the seat moves back 1/2 inch. I have to move wheel forward and seat back the rest of the way (manually).

Have you enabled the function in your configuration menu?

Yes, that is why the seat moves back a little automatically.
