Deciding between a 911 C4S and Panamera Turbo
Help!
I'm about to pull the trigger and am struggling between a 2013 Panamera Turbo and a 2014 911 C4S.
I know it's a weird comparison but I have a 10yr old and a 3 yr old who I would drive to school occasionally. 95% of the time I'll be in the car alone. This will be my daily driver. Mostly highway driving.
If I get the 911 I'll keep my 2014 Mini Cooper S (manual).
Both cars have PSE, Sport Chrono, and PASM. The 911 is a 7 speed manual. I enjoyed the Pani but then drove the 911 and couldn't stop smiling.
Any help much appreciated.

Help is here ..
Get the 911
95% of the time driving alone? Highway driving?
Kids are young and fit nicely in the back for rides to school?
The choice is clear .... You'll always regret not doing it, and when you decide to do it after buying another car, it will have been a costly mistake. Pull the trigger now (I speak from experience).

Same situation here..got the Panamera..6 months later I have an order for a 911. Panamera's are great cars in their own right, but the 911 is, as you put it, what puts a smile on a face!

Get the 911! Unless they start making a five seat Panamera (I have 3 kids, family of 5), my 911 can carry the same number of kids as a Panamera...and with that being the case (and the fact that 95 percent of my driving is also solo), it's a 911 for me!

Yes, get the C4S.
(But if you ask this same question at the Panamera forum, some people will recommend you to get the Panamera Turbo. The new facelifted Panamera looked much better than the current one; its rear side-profile looked quite elegant, reminiscent of Audi A7. So if you're gonna get the Panamera, wait until next year and get the new facelifted one.)

Panamera is overkill if you don't use the backseat--lots of wasted electronics and space back there. And though nimble for its size, still a large vehicle. Kids love 911 backseats and don't realize it's too small like we do!

I just sold my Panamera 4S to buy the 911. 911 4S over Panamera any day. I had the Panamera for like 4 years and yes it is a really good quality car but after my wife got the Cayman GTS and I went and test drove the 911 it was bye bye Panamera for me....and hello Carrera GTS
