Default New exhaust tips!

So...I have been wanting to get some different tips for my car. I changed the exhaust and it sounds great! I wanted an exhaust tip(s) that looked the part of how the car now sounds!

I've been looking at all of the available options for a while now. Aftermarket offerings seemed to have too much 'Porsche tax' included in the price and I was contemplating getting some 'regular aftermarket' tips and welding them on or making some clamps for them. I then ran across the thread on 6 speed where PorV8 purchased some eBay tips...this had crossed my mind as well, since the price point was something I thought was acceptable. The review was favorable and I picked up a set and beat isugoo out of the set he wanted! LOL

Review/thoughts/observations:

Shipped out very quickly. I had them within one week from overseas.

Packaged nicely. No damage upon opening. The quality looks very good. Not fantastic, but very good. There are a few minor imperfections in the chrome finish, but nothing that jumps out and screams at you.

I may still need to do a little adjusting on them to get them as close to 100% even...

I'm digging the look! Much 'bigger/agressive' look in my opinion, and the finish is really popping off the dark agate/black rear end!

Let me know what ya think!

They look very nice. I know the trend is to black out a lot of stuff on the car, but I like some bling.

They look like similar to Millteks. Look fine to me. I think it's hard to find a bad exhaust tip.

Wonder how they'll look after the Porsche 9A1 soot starts to build up?? Sizing is nice.

Lex, I was concerned about that too. I coated them with a ceramic coating in the hopes that it will keep them cleaner/assist in the cleanup down the road.

I'll keep you posted on this aspect...

At first I though they are the FVD ones, very similar looking.

Looks good! But you left out some very pertinent information.... Like where did they ship from? What's the name of them? And how much $$??

I put these on my car about 10k miles ago and the inner chrome plating did fail. However, I just let the soot build up to cover and I think it makes the pipes look even bigger and better!
