Any decent print shop can scan your plate and print an exact copy on vinyl with adhesive backing. This is the easiest, cheapest and by far the best looking solution. It looks just like a real plate only molded to the car. The ones I've seen look so much like a real plate you would never know especially if the car is just driving by. Best of all, hardly anyone does it. Which means LEO's aren't looking for them. Which makes it all the more strange that its been mentioned here a dozen times in three years and nobody's done it.

Oh well. Zip ties and holes are better I guess.

I would not endorse this approach.

Surprising CA hasn't piled on the WA state revenue enhancement program of having the police ticket cars without licence plates, 1-5 mph over speed limit, blacked out windows, outdated tabs by only a month, red duct tape rear lights, etc etc, etc.

It has so many benefits for state government employees:
- police don't have to deal with serious crimes

-big saving in legal cost and internment for the state.

-local doughnut shops and Starbucks are being protected 24/7

-state employees get new luxury SUV's every year
