I need to preserve my not-obnoxious mode
its "marginally" louder than PSE ... but not obnoxiously so...

if you want to hear it in person, let me know, if you want help installing one,
also let me know.

Hey gents..question. Got my AWE Switchpath [non PSE w/black chrome tip option] from you guys 5/3 and read post again about updated tip design. Do you know which ones I received? Exhaust is still awaiting PSE retrofit parts to come in I've ordered so is not installed yet. Just want to know what to be prepared for...especially since I saw this [see pic] hand written on my box when it arrived from you guys from FedEx! Thanks

Right? haha!

We have quite a few in stock - and more on their way! Currently AWE's lead time is about 6-8 weeks on these systems, and we have them IN STOCK so no lead times!

A question about how this exhaust works - In PSE equipped cars and with the PSE button on - are the valves always open at all RPMS in this mode so that even in normal driving the sound is more aggressive without application of heavy throttle ? Also, with the "PSE" button on, the valves are open even at idle so there is a nice aggressive sound at idle ? Thanks !

If you have the PSE option, that button gives you full control of the valves so if you have the Sport Exhaust mode engaged, the valves stay open even at idle and yes, this system has a very nice, aggressive idle when the valves are opened. Even without the Sport Exhaust button pressed, the quieter mode still sounds deeper and nicer than stock but is quiet enough for early mornings or sensitive neighbors.

This really is one of our favorite-sounding exhausts on the market for any vehicle and a great value for the 991!
