Fergus, first I've got to say that that is one beautiful car. Incredibly classy looking. I've come to love my combo (DBM with Cognac/Espresso), but I think yours is a very close second to my eye. Second, I want to say how much I love these "look at my car" threads. Choice is great, but we all know how overwhelming Porsche choices can be. And it's great to see "in the flesh" what different choices appeal to different people.

Lastly, to those wheels - obviously the most controversial styling element of the GTS. I had originally thought that they'd look best with colors like Carmine, Sapphire, and the Silvers and I held my breathe (nose?) when I ordered them with my DBM. But now that I have them with my car, I've decided that the black wheels look best with colors that provide a subtle contrast. I don't like them with black cars - no contrast, too "batman". And I don't like them so much with the contrasting colors like Carmine, Sapphire, etc. because there's just too much contrast. They're too stark.

After I got my car and fell in love with the look, I went back to the configurator and decided that the GTS with its black wheels looks best with DBM and Mahogany. Just the right contrast to my eye. But I'm not trying to convince anyone. It is soooo a matter of personal taste. But to my eye and for my money, you got it exactly right. I may even like your combo slightly better than mine . . . until the next time I look at my DBM in the driveway at least. Good luck. Great, great car.

One of the better colors to go with the two tone expresso/cognac interior. Spectacular color choices.

Love it. Looks amazing and unique. Mahogany is a color I'd never order but love seeing it on other people's 911s. Congrats and another win for 7MT!!

Very nice GTS targa! Do you mind posting some additional closer photos? I'm in the process of ordering a GTS coupe and Mahogany is definitely a color i'm strongly considering.

Hey, did you chose a color yet? I missed his message when you posted it but I'd be happy to send you more pictures.
