Default Strange noise in GTS 7MT

I've put roughly 750 miles on the GTS and I love it accept 1 thing.

Driving over broken pavement at low speeds or over uneven road conditions or undulations, the car, actually sounds like the rear suspension or engine compartment, makes a thumping noise similar to have loose luggage in a trunk. The car drives and handles great but I'm trying to see if this is normal.

Doesn't sound normal to this GTS 7MT driver.

Hope they removed the blue shipping blocks from the springs. Give a look up in there.

Doesn't sound right to me. Mine is a PDK, but I don't see why the noise you describe would be transmission dependent.

Maybe the factory left a tool back there.

Problem solved.

I drive over to the dealership. The tech drove the car and the noise was very apparent. He put the car up on the lift and found the problem quickly.

Apparently, a small stone got lodged between the stabilizer bar and control arm. There is a very tight tolerance and it was causing the noise to echo through the car when hitting a bump.

How DARE YOU post a quick and final solution to this issue!

This thread could have stayed alive for at least a week with rampant speculation over what your mysterious sound might be, and here you've gone and killed the whole thing.

Sheesh...
