I think Porsche decided to skip North America. Parts-Bin Carrera S doesn't sound as good, even though I sure do like the parts they found in that bin. Good find Chuck!

These Taiwanese surely know how to throw a party. It looks like a fun. I wonder how do they do the launch event in a even bigger and wealthier Asian market like Japan and Korea?

Lol. Taiwan has always been wealthier than Korea by a good amount, and has been a mature market for decades. They have a GDP per capita essentially on par with Japan, and have more overall billionaires than the much larger Japan. They have long been one of the wealthiest countries in East Asia. Taiwan industrialized soon after Japan did, and today is one of the cleanest, most tech driven and advanced (not to mention pro-USA) countries anywhere. It's funny how little understanding of East Asia most Americans have. They also have a very strong Porsche (and Audi) enthusiast community.
