Default alarm locking chirp - time between chirps fluctuates significantly

Has anyone else noticed that the double chirp when locking the car is far from consistent on the cadence /tempo? Call me vain for griping about something so trivial but I expect precision from the engineering resulting in our vehicles.

Before I make an effort to record and analyze this annoyance has anyone else noticed it? I did a cursory search for the issue apologies in advance if it's been discussed.

Key fob or black button on the door handle? I only use the black button. Beep beep, always the same here.

I have certainly noticed this. Sometimes the chirps are quick and close together, sometimes there's a longer delay between them. In either case, the doors lock and car arms, so I haven't sweat it.
Its annoying, but I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it...

Wow, If this is your biggest problem, consider yourself lucky!

It reads 14.7 with the headlights off and 14.6 with them on. I've never experienced any electrical issues since I've owned the vehicle.

+1 I don't disagree. It's really annoying though of all things that could bother me.

Telling the dealer to fix it will inevitably lead me to being marked as "that guy" by my dealership. At this point I think I'm just going to disable the chirps.

Sometimes it's comforting to know I'm not alone. That's reassuring - and yes it works flawlessly every time from a functional standpoint....silly chirps!

I noticed that also. Does not seem to have any rhyme or reason. Sometimes, I think it might relate to how much time have passed since you shut off the car, open door, and lock. Yeah, I think you will be 'the guy' if you bring the car in for that.

Just like that occasional little wiper movement when you turn the car off. It does whatever it wants to do. Quirky German engineering.

Could it be the difference between Spot and Sport Plus door chime settings?
