Nearly done my 1500 run-in miles in my GTS and I have to say I am really impressed with it and looking forward to hitting the SPORT/PLUS button very soon! What A CAR, What A CAR, What A CAR....!
I am especially happy with the ceramics and feel they give improved performance and stopping power than my previous steel ones.
The last few hundred miles I have really pushed them hard and the car stops on a dime and I feel safer knowing how well the stop!!!
My last C2s brakes were excellent but the ceramics do feel ' to me ' incredible.
I would like to know others peoples experience...?
Ps would just like to mention how amazing the engine sound is...SWEET.
I LOVE PCCB ... I would not get a 911 without them... I lot of heavy trackers do not like them because of the replacement cost, but Ive yet to see a real cost analysis of steel vs ceramics.
Note that the Evo comparison test showed that their stopping power is about the same as steels, however the thermal performance is MUCH better...
The depreciation is like 100% on them. That being said, I hate brake dust sooooooo much I'd probably buy them if building a custom ordered car.
Geez, just put new pads/rotors on and the brake dust even gets on the doors, etc..
Extra time cleaning wheels per wash x my time $$$ = probably well worth it!
I had a SA show me the cost of returning a car with ceramics, and like you said, you get nothing back for ceramics. One of the major reasons I opted not to get them. As far the brake dust, I found a solution:
Now I'm not a fan of anything "Armorall" but this stuff is black magic! I've had it on my wheels for ~3 weeks now, and not a single speck of dust! Get yourself a bottle! Here's a good review too

Thanks. In the video, I wish they would compare two front wheels instead of the front and rear one. The front wheels get the brake dust like five times worse than the rears.

Good point. But from my experience, it works pretty damn well for a $8 investment.
To be honest, I don't think they make any actual difference in stopping distance on these cars. The tires are the limiting factor there. The standard brakes are that good.
I think the impact on ride quality is noticeable to me, but not the stopping power. They do grab a little harder early in the travel, but that's just the illusion of greater power, isn't it? Any modern Porsche brakes can bring the tires to the limit of their braking ability.
Having said that, I did order them on the GT4, but not because I'm expecting to be able to stop any faster with them.
Just curious, why haven't you used the Sport or Sport Plus button. I can understand maybe not using the Sport Plus button, but why not Sport? I used it on the way home from dealer in my GTS. Just got to keep tach below 4,200 rpm.

Evo test demonstrated this... the thermal differences are significant though, the ceramic equipped cars continue to stop well, steels - not so much...

That sucks. What kind of car/wheels? I had them on my BMW 335i w/ 18'' alloy. So far, so good after about 3 weeks. You have to make sure the wheels are spotless. I cleaned and clayed them. Allowed the wheels to dry then sprayed a crap load on each wheel and left it overnight to make sure it sticks to the wheels.
