Default Is 5% off for July delivery a fair deal?

Model is GTS coupe. This will be the last of the '15s I think, and this is the deal offered by my local dealer. The sales guy I have known for yrs, and I know they have to make something. Obviously I will be annoyed if it is months late like my last order on a 997 was. Thoughts?

Seems about what most people here are getting. I was able to get 7%. Enough to cover the tax in PA.

It depends somewhat on where you are located and how far you will go to get the car. 5% seems generally in the ballpark except in markets with less than robust competition between dealers.

6-8% is possible

5% is minimum

Less than 5% is robbery and a nice suit for your sales guy

I agree with the other posters. You're right in the ballpark. I got 6%. Others have gotten almost nothing. If you want to negotiate hard, you may find another point or so, but not much more. Good luck.

Larry, 5% off of MSRP, and maybe a little over, is probably a good "competitive market" benchmark. $3K - $4K ED would come out of that, at least from what I understand.

We're all anxious to hear what you get
