Does anybody really believe NA will totally disappear? The latest PCA interviews the AG GT3 cars head and he says no way. Also, GT Porsche magazine says the new engine works will have the NA's for base 911's. Don't worry the NA's are staying.

So based on the above my 16 GTS 4 should generate discussion
Lava orange, big sun roof, PDK for a manual guy.
All alcantara. GTS communication package. Aero package
As STG991 says buy what you want to drive now
Due in mid August.
Will miss my 997 TT but think this will be a great Porsche goons be weird to have a roof

I'd tick some "interior trim painted ext color" options...

I'm sure that for the GT3/4 they will remain N.A, but question is how much more BHP can be extracted from a flat-6, at 4.0L 500 bhp I dont see a lot
of headroom left (especially given the Manthey/Sharkwerks experience at 4.1+ displacement)

I doubt any of the other 911 models will remain N.A....

Maybe when they move on with the gt3 and its variations to electric assisted fusion reactors, they will allow the 911s to have the current 500hp NA engine......

I've got a confirmed allocation for a mid/ late June build on a 2016 GTS coupe. Order locks in late May. The TT is epic and has torque like a monster but I just don't find the PDK as engaging as a manual, so I'm going back to a stick.

I have a mid September build date for my PTS Mexico Blue GTS..
From what I have heard the GTS build will run pretty much to the end of year, over lapping the building of the 991.2 for a couple of months.

makes sense; at some point they will stop making 991 Carrera and S models and start building the .2's ... but everything else will remain under production
until either a replacement model is launched or the production comes to and end (e.g: GT3)

My car is starting production on july 3rd with late august delivery. My dealer says he checked with Porsche on new wheel and it's a no go yet.

From the moment when the .2 production commences, and then during the period of overlap with the .1, it is possible that some of the new .2 features will show up in the .1. I think that if any .1 gets something new then it will be this very last batch of .1 cars that are produced after .2 production starts.

For example, I can’t imagine that Porsche would want two versions of the PDK shifter on the production line: the current +/- one and the proposed new -/+ version.
