Default Karma did it to me again

We had a lot of part repair vendors come to work today to show their capability. So many that they filled up our normal parking lot and then started parking in the marked executive parking spaces. One of them parked just about on my car. Security went out to tell them not to park there, but it was too late. I decided to move my car to a remote location, but found it too was full. Begrudgingly I went back to my parking spot.
So...when I left work tonight I was greeted to a thump, thump from the right rear tire. Low and behold a big piece of round steel about the size of my pinky was sticking out of the tread dead-center! It appears my travel through the remote section of the parking lot gave me a present.
I left my car at work and will bring it to the dealer tomorrow. After having a set of wheels on my RS4 almost ruined at a non-dealer I decided to wait and bring it to Porsche. I hope they can patch it.
My wife laughed when she picked me up....she knows I am a bit **** with the cars I have. At least I brought some laughter to somebody today.

Condolences. I highly doubt they'll patch it.
But they'll probably try to sell you two new tires..

A Porsche dealership will not patch it.

Did it flat the tire? Might not have punctured it. If punctured, get it properly plugged AND patched. Store in your basement/garage as an emergency spare.

What luck...it didn't puncture. The techs pulled it out and no problem.
Going to pick it up now!

So not what it appeared to be at all. It was a karma chameleon.

Awesome.....its not easy to work in a Culture Club song into a post. Well done.
My wife (then dating) and her sister told me a story about trying to get this bad behaving pet monkey in Mexico back to Texas when they were teenagers. This story went on and on. Finally I asked with a straight face if they spanked that bad monkey. My wife...mortified. Her older sister...equally not amused. You could live a hundred lifetimes and never have a setup like that.

So hopefully you learned your lesson. Next time the lot fills up just stay put. Don't go getting into any monkey business.
