But if someone has the have "new", the price that is paid ... Same with every other new purchase. Sometimes depending on the person and situation, we know this is the route some want to go which is fine too.
Any ball-park estimate as to what dealer install might be? This is something that only dealer can install due to the switch and some re-programming required?

Yes dealer has to install switch unit which I believe involves programming. Overall, should be like a $500-$600 job. I paid $500
On an S model, the side mufflers don't even get changed. Just the center one. Not a difficult job.
The depreciation curve for years 1-2 is very steep, starts curving years 3-5, and will become flatter come years 5+. Still depreciating, but at a slower rate than years 1-5 in my opinion.
In combing through various sites, I estimated an average depreciation of 2K for every 1K mile in the first 2 years of ownership. This is on top of the standard >10% depreciation one faces soon as the new car keys exchange hands from dealer to us.
I think the interior looks great, but I haven't decided if I could live with the cognac seats. I assume blue jeans dye gets on those seats pretty easily.
Easy enough to keep clean i you wipe em down frequently and don't "rub"
