I think we can expect heavier discounting with new Porsches, including the GTS, as the stock market jitters shake the confidence of buyers. Does anyone remember the pricing in 2009? $10K trunk money plus up to 10% discounts. 7.5% discount is excellent and I suspect many dealers will be accepting those numbers and maybe even greater discounts as inventory sits.

If wanting to buy a new GTS, as you know, the pickings are slim. The longer one waits, the less selection there will be.

Don't expect anything drastic in discounts unless you buy one a year from now which is an oddball build. Even then, they'll be a better built used one at a lower price anyway.

I don't think we have a 2009 upcoming this year, although a big correction and flat year is likely. Anyone win the lottery last night?

The best "hot deals" are still the 2012.5-2015's at $30K+ off sticker, CPO, and 15K miles or less!! The whole reason this thread got started.

Did you have a chance to compare the Burmester, the 991 Bose and the 997 Bose?

Great way to upgrade the Bose tweeters to Burmester for $400 in parts. Thanks to RL member electronics genius Lunarx.

Big improvement!

Anyone care to comment on the discount you'd expect to see on a leftover '15 S Cab MT? My thinking is it will take a pretty big discount, as it's heavily optioned up into GTS price territory, but it's not a GTS and it's not a PDK.

What to expect and what a particular dealer will offer are two different things. Some dealers like to sell cars, and some think they're doing you a favor by taking your money.

For a leftover 2015? Warranty NOT punched I hope? Check. They do that sometimes to mark it as sold for accounting gimmicks.

I'd want at least 10-12% off MSRP on it. Many dealers are advertising voluntary big discounts already on leftover cars.

I'm asking for more than that, as I figure at this point it's pretty much a used car. We'll see how badly they want it off the lot.

Please let us know what you're able to get if the deal goes through. Thanks.

A few pages back there was a leftover 2015 S Cab that was about 30k off sticker. Granted it had a few miles on it, like 1100, and was an odd color combo. It's now sold.

Here's one that's close to the C4S I'm looking for. It's missing a few options I'd prefer, though (sport exhaust and sport design package).

Price seems a little high?

nice option spec with full leather and premium plus...at 15K miles I think they are high. C2S cars with nice options at that mileage would be mid 80s.

Speak to Fred G there and make him an offer if you like the car. Good guy.

Thanks.

I think the interior looks great, but I haven't decided if I could live with the cognac seats. I assume blue jeans dye gets on those seats pretty easily.
