I tried it on an autotrader page and on this forum. It doesn't launch a new tab.

Interesting. It looks like you have to open a fresh tab, a new window, or restart your browser (quit and reopen) for it to start working. It doesn't work on already open tabs. I'll see if that is default Chrome behavior or if there is a fix to make it work on an already open tab.

Here is to hoping the GTS drops some with the winter/new GTS combination.

Good luck this week to everyone still in the hunt.

As more hit the market, and if inventory builds up, could see downward pressure on .1 GTS. Don't expect like 20% or anything. Like I said, maybe 5-10% drop as the year progresses. Some of the way overpriced ones ($120K range) at only $10-$15K off MSRP will come to reality.

I think we'll see $100K low mileage GTS's later this year on the low end. Still think $105-$110K will be more common.

For the rest of the .1's? Maybe 5% drop in 2017.

The pre-owned .1 value is still very strong compared to buying new. We'll see how pre-owned .2's do in 2017 as more hit the market.

All my guesstimates!!

It works on RL forum posts but not on cars.com or autotrader

Just so you guys know, this VIN# build sheet trick could be changed or pulled by PORSCHE at anytime. That's why we haven't wanted to publicize it too much.

They have never meant it to be a consumer tool. Maybe I'm overthinking it?? Possibly. It would SUCK to lose it. On top of it, dealers aren't probably in favor of it either. Gives more power to the buyer. Just something to consider .....

I'm with STG.

I think having the Chrome extension in the official Chrome market is going a step too far in drawing attention to this resource.

Also, it doesn't have screenshot taking integrated

Especially when they charge a hundred bucks for a COA...

Hope it stays and you make an excellent point!

Will be interesting to see if there is a slight uptick in Panamera sales, too, after the launch of the latest version.

Just looked at that closer. Had no clue what was happening here.

Chrome web store?? Yikes. Intentions are good (and very creative), but not a smart idea. Way toooooo much exposure I would have a hard time doing what I do without it, and why I don't post info on it anymore.

Like I said, it's NOT supposed to be a CONSUMER resource. I hope Serge010 pulls the literal plug on this one or hits the delete key.

Although it is served from the chrome web store, it is unlisted - you can't search for it and find it. You need to have the direct link, which has only been shared here. Did that on purpose to limit exposure.
