Yeah, this car is a tough sale. All blue Smurf, wood trim, auction car from northwest, and winter tires on it. Driven in winters and need $6K for a proper 20" set for real driving. This car is probably in questionable shape.
I bought this car yesterday. Immaculate condition and service records. The yachting blue is awesome IMO, and the wood is growing on me...but I am old. I would have preferred the carbon fiber, but the wood brings an old school look to a modern classic. My car got hit about a month ago and this was a definite upgrade. I was set on full leather, and that was the only thing this car didn't have. I was able to overlook that because, other than the leather, this car had everything my car had, also it added the S, plus PCCB and Aerokit. This made me forget about the leather and go for it.
I already have an extra set of Carrera Classics to bolt on, so I am ready to go!
Great price on this 2017 991.2 targa4 gts that just closed on BAT. $167k msrp, 21k miles, clean car fax. $123k selling price (which includes the $5k BAT buyers premium fee).
@Catharpin Talk about a highly spec'ed car, regardless of anyone's preference. That's the oddball one you find 30years from now doing weird money. Congrats!
Not exactly a HOT for sale, but I just listed my .1 C2S MT for 90k (mods). If I don't get any takers within a month, I'll return to stock and sell it for 80k.
Any thoughts on this price? Not a lot of comps for a 991.2 C4GTS, especially with a manual, so it's hard to evaluate.
Who knows whats under the roof storage mounts. Personally, I'd be out on, what looks to be, a daily (rain/snow/sun) from upstate NY. For sure get some under carriage photos to verify severity of road salt gnar.

The GTS interior package ads a lot to the looks, and that's why the sticker is kind of low. And it's about a buck a mile markdown for higher than normal miles (for a 911). I have a 2015 DBM GTS Cab I'm selling with a $153k sticker and it has just under 21k miles and a Fidelity Platinum warranty for 2.5 years left on it. And I have another one I just bought (a 2016 coupe) with 16k miles.
I would mark this one down $15k for miles, and add $4k for warranty. Good point was made about its location and road salt. It would be a fun snow commuter, but I'll bet the underside shows it.
I wish I had known about rennlist.com and this sticky before I went looking for my first 911. But in my defense, I only had one week for the deal to go through before the wife got home from vacation, so I needed something from a local Porsche dealer. So, for whatever it’s worth, and to add to the comparisons, here is what I purchased last month:
2019 CPO 991.2 Base, white/black - pretty basic, but fun.
31k miles, full 40k service done + 4 tires + new battery + brakes + spark plugs
Porsche CPO until 08/2025 (must have been one of the last 991s produced)
PDK/PSE/SR/LCA/20” glossy black rims/BOSE/heat&cool seats/K40 system with Jammer, plus some smaller stuff I had no idea people would pay so much money for, like black lettering. Well, now I know better.
Clean Carfax, nothing repainted, full local Porsche Service History, external post purchase inspection
MSRP just under $110k, sold for $87k.
K40 System was only discovered afterwards.
All I hope for is worry-free driving for 2 1/2 years while it is under CPO warranty and then reevaluate trade-in value and fun factor before upgrading.
Good luck to everybody finding their perfect dream car.

I just found your post, and I think your new 991 is exquisite, none like it. It was probably specked by a yachtsman that is used to brightwork. It looks like fine varnished teak with blue leather trim on the Captains chairs. Plus, you got a C4S, you gotta be kidding me?
Thought I'd share my purchase. After hawking this thread for months and months I pulled the trigger on a 2014 C2S with 45k miles. Still CPO until early next year. Had everything my heart desired aside from the PSE which I plan to add later.
Thank you all for all your help.

Great purchase! Welcome to the club.
Read up on the PSE threads, should be pretty easy to do.
