Put that up here and any other social media you're on, doing it once and right for a price you're fine getting but not on the high end, so it doesn't take up too much of your time.
The other quick option is take the tax advantage on trade and be done with it, really depends on how much you feel your time is worth when it comes to selling a pretty new car IMO.
Or, get a dealer that will do a pass through and get the tax advantage along with your sale price vs. their offer.
They would probably also facilitate buyer financing if needed, which is where I've had private party deals fall through on more expensive cars.
Thanks!

I just read up un the dealer tax advantage. What's a dealer pass thru / tax advantage?

I usually only by new cars from dealers every 10 years, keep them up, well maintain & looking good, then sell outright. With this beings our 1st 911 it was different. We got a good deal on a 2018 General Manager used CPO w/ 2.5K. at 17% off sticker. We are the first titled owners. We wanted to go this route to make sure it would be a good fit fore my wife & myself... We love it!! It spec'd out perfect for us.

I'm in no hurry to sell it, however I'm not sure on the market for something like this. We will be getting something new if not ordering.

)

It is either when you sell the car yourself but it is processed through the dealer (giving you a tax trade-in credit) or you trade the car in and get that sales tax credit.

This is not applicable in CA (which charges sales tax on the full purchase price) or any state where sales tax is not charged (such as Oregon). It is a lot easier to find reasonably-priced private party cars for sale in these states as a result.

Probably understood by everyone by now, but just in case...

In most states...

Buy a $100,000 car, pay tax on $100,000.
Buy a $100,000 car with a $50,000 trade in, pay tax on $50,000.

At a semi-typical 7.5% tax rate, and using the above example, that equates to a $3,750 tax savings. You would have to sell the same car privately for $53,750 to break even with the dealer trade offer.

Thanks for posting! There has been a recent drought of new HFS cars. That car is 95% of what I'm looking for, but I can't live with holes in the front bumper.

Nice build, if you like red interiors. Buy it with a Fidelity Platinum warranty.

Looks like someone has it on hold or has bought it. The CarMax website shows it as unavailable. I thought it was a HFS!

It has been for sale for months now. Did they finally drop the price? They were asking $79,900 if I remember correctly.
