Default Chrome window trim

Should I black out the chrome window trim, if the car has an aerokit? Agate grey C4S with Carrera Classic wheels. I'm half and half about the chrome. Any thoughts?

Wrap it, paint it black chrome, or maybe a matt finish (SEM self etching primer and there trim paint works well) or ? Lots out there. T

Not a chrome fan myself. Would want to swap it out with OEM, but costly. For example, the rear window trim comes as a complete piece with the glass, so not cheap.

I'd have it wrapped, or done the right away as stated above ^^^^ by Tony.

The easiest and reversible thing to do is Plastidip spray.

+1 it looks cheap and IMO out of place on a modern 911... suitable only if you are looking for a retro look and your car is (unfortunately) painted brown or green...

Is it even chrome ? IIRC it's highly polished aluminum and even if it is chrome, can be toned down a bit with 3M 400 grit (maroon colored) scuff pads. If you don't like the way that looks, you just prepped it for wrap, primer/paint or whatever you decide. Just be sure to tape off the surrounding paint/clear coat. T

Tony, it's polished aluminum.

Larry, I couldn't stand one piece of chrome. Even the badge! Had it painted!

I love the look of the aluminum especially with black.. I will be receiving my first 911 in early April and ordered jet black metallic with the window trim.. It's a personal choice however. Order what you think looks best!

Polished stainless steel. I can personally take it or leave it given all the black trim on the car, but since you have it and it was an extra cost option, just enjoy it!
