Default Painted key Fob

Got this off extremesports on eBay. $25 free shipping.
Much less expensive than $125 through Porsche

Seen these much more reasonable on eBay, but unfortunately, no GT Silver Metallic ones so far other than the Porsche Brand ones.

991turboS, these were eBay for $25, Porsche $125 for painted plastic is IMHO is crazy.

Tony they won't ship spray cans over the U.S. mail, but when I get back on vacation, I'm going to do this at my brothers house. These guys might have or will do your color.

From what I've read 2 coats color with 4 coats clear will give the color and durability I want. I now have a set to play with, so I'll see how I do.

The key has clear on it, so I'll see about the durability

Hi Mike, Maybe there are aerosol touch up spray cans available in Germany ? Or, purchase a pint ? of specific color in Germany and have your painter spray both fobs and keep the rest for touch up. Painter will already have clear and hardener. Just received an oil filter end cap wrench that's a close match When ru headed back to SA ? T

Ordered mine and a blue for my wife on eBay for $20. I felt cheesy doing that. If I paid $125 I'd feel stupid. Both are a year old and still look new.

With GT Silver, I just bit the bullet. It's not worth my time trying to mess with a DIY.

I have over 100K into the car already. I've wasted money on worse things.

The case is nice with keyless entry/drive.
