Default SharkWerks and 991 GTS

Hello;

Is it worth it to install a SharkWerks exhaust on a 991 GTS? Will the "noise" sound better? I understand that the HP/Tq are pretty much unaffected and this is purely for an aural experience. This is what I'm looking at: http://sharkwerks.com/porsche/991-ca...s-exhaust.html

Cheers

Completely agree with you. I never, ever mod my cars. I like to keep them as close to stock, i.e., perfection as possible. I was just see what the RL community experience w/ SW is.

Wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I do have a slight mod bug. In this case, I love the PSE as is personally.

Yeah, after living in the 986, 996 and Turbo worlds for the last 10 years, where everyone absolutely HAS to go aftermarket exhaust if you want the car to sound like a Porsche should, I'm so smitten with the PSE exactly as it comes from the factory.

In fact, a few houses down a neighbor has a Panny GTS and when he rolls through the 'hood even that thing makes a glorious howl. Porsche is on top of their game in the exhaust sound department at present. I like GTS with PSE sounds better than any aftermarket I've owned to date.

God, I miss the NA sound... the turbo sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Having said that, I ran headers, FVD, and Sharkwerks on my 991S and it sounded like a monster. The overruns sounded ridiculous. In case you want to pick up the Sharkwerk exhaust for cheap send me a PM...

No need on a GTS, already sounds glorious. For those without the sport exhaust option on a non "S" or base, sure.02 T

Completely agreed. Unless you absolutely need to have everyone staring at you constantly I'm not sure why you'd want to replace the PSE on a GTS.

It sounds... well... absolutely amazing.

Had Porsche sports on my original 911S, then had a turbo and have been missing the sound for the last few years.

Thankfully, it will only take me about 65K to get it back!

I did the center muffler delete, I would love to hear the primary muffler delete. Was worried it would be too loud though
