Anyone have an idea on how much extra headroom with Sport Bucket Seats would provide? I assume this would apply with the GT3 as well.

It's a pity it's all CGI bull****. I would have preferred actual footage of the car over this not terribly informative or interesting marketing fluff.

Great car. Bad commercial.

At least they got the car right!

I like this Porsche commercial. I think it's quite good, especially when compared with those awful AMG GT commercials.

To say nothing of the insipid "community" GTS theme or the even worse ads they run showing the guy who sews jackets, the ballet dancer and the cupcake baker. If you haven't seen those take some dramamine first so you don't barf all over your keyboard. Those ads are so sick the closest they come to talking about driving is when the ballet girl says she drives to work very early in the morning. There is no substitute, in other words, for getting to work on time.

More from AP:

This is the second one in which AP mentions they gave the GT4 a torque limiter. Like he's proud of it. But why? Stability? It seems like the last thing you want in a track car.

So AP said, the GT4 has a "different" intake.

Anyone think it could be "different" like a PowerKit Intake?
Maybe they sneaked PowerKit Heads & Cams in there?

It has the same 0-60 time as the Carrera GTS 7MT.

Also, funny how people feel GT3 would be threatened, if GT4 had too much power, while nobody seems to care it has the same brakes.

Lots of posts about the lack of PDK which I would also personally prefer but I thought that the GT4 class in which this car is designed to race (hence the name GT4, Doh) is a manual only class, isn't it?

Going to be trading in my 991 4S for this car. I like everything about it.

doesn't matter to the best of my knowledge none of the homologation models transmissions have transferred from the street to the track...

In the Evo interview AP suggested that they listened to the GT3 feedback on the PDK only offering and went manual on this car, also going manual made the development of the car faster and cheaper

The intake is different because the vertical space in the cayman engine bay is less compared to the 911.
