Nice. Are those P101s? What finish? And I'm in the "not like black wheels" camp. My current wheels are white sport technos but thinking HRE come spring.
P40S in tinted finish. I don't think they are even a current wheel now.
Only the best people drive on HREs! ... I'm already imagining a set for the GTS, although I think I will go in the opposite direction from my GTS (silver OEM -> Black HRE)
and go with Silver/Platinum/Satin HREs...
The 997 GTS had black CL wheels as standard, but you could also get them in silver, or even the Carrera Sport wheels, so more options for that car than the 991 GTS. I have the black wheels on my 2012 997 GTS and like them, but only because they have a polished lip.
You wouldn't think the half inch of polished metal would make that much difference, but it does. It gives separation between the wheel and tire. I don't particularly like the solid black wheels like those on the 991 GTS. The wheel and tire just blend together.
Yeah, I agree black with polished lip is much better looking...here's a picture of my ex 997 C2S with black wheels...now on 991 Cab I have the Classics and they are gorgeous and don't show the brake dust at all.
