Anyone wants to buy my Speed Yellow Rennlist sticker for $10? You can stick it to your car and became a "Fake" member and save $6.

Clearly he was having a bad day or something because his reaction was totally off kilter in relation to the 'offense".
Chalk it up to a bad day and move on. It happens.
I first joined rennlist 15 yrs ago when I bought my first porsche, a 993 cab. At that time rennlist was for porsche geeks, all the threads pretty much about the tech aspects of owning or modifying a 911. The 911 forum seems to have morphed into more of a social networking site, not that there is anything wrong with that. In the original thread that I believe sparked this, a genuine question was raised but the only responses were comedic in nature and the thread died as a result, so I understand the sentiment.

Glad you felt the need to insert your approx. one post per year here. Most insightful. I learned how to rebuild my motor from it. Thanks!!!!

Oh, BTW:

2014-2008 = 6 years, not 15.

And, did I tell you yet that my cousin can't make it for Thanksgiving after all?

Assume this directed at me, bought my 993 in 1999. When I sold the 993 (which was a dumb move) I stopped using rennlist as I drove other makes. Rejoined rennlist under a new user when I purchased the 991 as I could not recall my original log in info.

Rennlist has changed in the meantime but I still derive immense benefit from the posts of some users, money and SMl spring to mind.

You need to go back and re-read that post, then. And work on your reading comprehension. Within the first few posts, Rennlister Brad offered a great answer. IMO, the light hearted comical answers helped to bump the post back up to the top, so maybe another knowledgeable and possible response could be generated.

I am shocked that such a distinguished poster as STG991 should think this is free!

Please understand that nothing that is valuable is free!

STG991 contributes a great deal of valuable information for free. He must understand that someone must maintain this cite. It is not free to those who maintain it.

I am sure STG991 merely misunderstands. He should join.

Not free at all when you're getting bombarded with ads. With the amount of ads on this site and how bad it slows things down, it's hard for me to imagine they need membership fees to make money on this forum.

Freeman, did you never get your refund? Way to bring back a thread from the dead. Hey, better than starting a NEW thread!!! You know my love of duplicate posts

As far as your kind comments, I was on 6Speed before coming to Rennlist. 6Speed was going downhill, and saw RL as a step above reflecting my interests and liked the amount of great participation.

So I signed onto Rennlist for the first time Nov 7, 2014. I posted the quoted referenced post 11 days after first signing on.

I must admit, I really didn't have a thorough knowledge of Rennlist and what the membership entailed. I will confess, I've seen the error of my ways and repent my sins. Please forgive me.

Now, a year later, are you still looking for a refund??

I must say I have NO regrets paying the $32.00/2yr membership. I've met some great people here and learned a lot of valuable information. It's well worth it. A small price to pay!

P.S. It's web"site", not "cite"

Freeman, you've been here since 2001, you might as well keep renewing. Changed your mind since last year?? I've admitted the error of my ways, how about you?
