Best looking 991!?
#18
It's about finding visual balance. The 991 offers many great ways to make the car look amazing that 'fit' the look of a spcific 911 generation. This GT3 is the most droolworthy combination of I've seen. The dark blue metallic understates/balances the madness of the skirts and spoilers in quite a nice way. The yellow of the PCCB calipers nicely compliments the dark blue metallic in its turn.
Also 991 GT3 wheels are damn gorgeous, the best wheels for the 991 imho.
On c2/4 I'm a sucker for guards red. Some might call me an idiot for it, but a combination with white wheels would look achingly good.
A mexico blue c2/c4 with satin gold wheels would be quite nice too.
I love the look white 991 with contrasting (black) mudguards that one of our fellow forum members has too thinking of it.

The best looking 991's for the street are the GTS, 50th, and C4S. None of them have that big gaping empty spot on the engine decklid or a boy-racer looking wing.
The best looking 991's will always be the race cars.

Saw my first up close at an autocross this past weekend, truly a beautiful car. There was also a (well-driven) 997 GT3 and the visual comparison was unfair, the 991 is so well proportioned.
That said blasting around the course top down Sport + on in our car I have no regrets with our choice. Like others, we all probably think what we built is the "best looking" for our tastes and needs.

The correct answer, for each and every one of us, is of course, "the one sitting in my garage. "
Joking aside, I do think than the 991 convertible in any variant is the best looking convertible that has come along in quite awhile. The design team did a great job on the new tops.
