Discount when buying used from a dealer?

Discount when buying used from a dealer?
I've read many posts where people buying new 991's received anywhere from 3% to 7% off their new car purchase, and some maybe more.
My question is, when buying a used 991 from a Porsche dealer, can I also expect to get a discount, and if so any idea how much?
Secondly, does anyone know how much a premium is put on a CPO pre-owned vehicle vs one without?
Since we are coming into Winter in North America, will that make dealers more likely to offer discounts?
Thanks

Yes. Amount mainly depends on your negotiating skills and sellers motivation to move metal.
CPO cost the dealer about $2,800 for a 991. They will want to charge you that plus another couple grand.
Buying sports cars off season is good for a buyers wallet.

Mileage? PDK or manual.
$92.4 CPO retail at a dealer would not be unreasonable. Your price looks pretty good. Offer $84.4 and see what they do.
I'll revise my price when you give me more info.

Just build the preowned cars here and compare the price to what they asking.
They should be able to share the option list on any pre-owned car you're interested in.
Good luck and remember the only person who has to be pleased with the deal is you. :thumb up:
Good luck with the search.

Since there is no MSRP for used cars, dealers are free to ask whatever they want. Some list high and negotiate a lot, some list high and refuse to negotiate and some list them at or near market. Know the market and aim for that. Don't get hung up on % discount.

I remember recently reading about leftover 2013s in dealer inventories that were at least $20K off. 2014s are now last year's model so dealers are going to want to get rid of them. This is especially true in colder climates and I would go through dealers in those regions to see if they have anything left that might interest me and see where they are at. The colder it gets the lower the prices will get.
