Refinishing GTS black CL wheel to Turbo S black/silver?
I am looking to order a GTS in GT Silver. I would like the CL wheels, but prefer them in the standard Turbo S configuration - black hub with polished silver spokes. Could the GTS CL's be refinished to replicate the Turbo S wheel?

Hi JUPJAI - Interesting .... Offsets on the C4S, which should be the same as the GTS are 51F/52R for the Carrera S wheel and 51F/48R for the Sport Techno's with 305 rear tire. I believe the Turbo S CL offsets are 51F/59R with 305 rears. Fronts would swap without issue. Unfortunately, I don't think the rears are would fit.
Any offset experts out there that can comment on fit?

Turbo S: Front: 9J x 20 RO 51; Rear: 11.5J x 20 RO 56
until we get a brochure that lists the GTS wheels its open to question, *however* since this is essentially a "parts bin" special, I will go out on a limb here and guess that the GTS wheels are not net new, but are shared with the TT/S ... with the same offsets.

What's key are the offsets of the Turbo S CLs as delivered on the GTS.
Turbo S: Front: 9J x 20 RO 51; Rear: 11.5J x 20 RO 56

I find it weird that you can option the turbo wheels on a regular C2S, and that the wheels from the C2S would not fit on the turbo or GTS due to offset.
I wonder if the 48 offset is a mistake.
Maybe I'm missing something.

It indicates the same offsets for both the turbo and Carrera wheels for the GTS. Do you think they have different offsets for the Carrera wheels as well?

you are correct that the offsets for the Turbo wheel are the same for both the C2S and the Turbo, hence they can be optioned on either, the Turbo S center lock is not available on either the C2S or C4S...
the fact that the offsets for the GTS are the same for the GTS is an engineering coincidence, since the hubs are radically different.

I like the sport techno wheels that I have on my current 991S. 11.5 inch width but rear wheel offset is 68. Wow...I thought that they would be interchangeable on my GTS. Guess not.

But I wanted the CLs, as I feel the standard S wheels, especially in silver, just really remove much of the specialness of the GTS.
So I ordered them that way after talking with the local high-end tire store Porsche sends everybody to. They can take them on trade if I want to either trade for Turbo S wheels (he said there are a lot of TTS guys who swap wheels immediately) or on a pair of HREs. But now, based on this thread, looks like this may not be an option for me based on fitment.
The other option I explored is the body shop I use can paint them as I wish -- either spray the whole wheel a lighter gunmetal color, so it looks different than the tire color, or just lighten up the lip (I'm fine with the spokes being black. So I figured I'd chance it with the stock CLs, and if I don't warm to them I can always make changes.
