I'm interested in one of these with a euro delivery but before I spend the money I want to know;
- Is this a 1 or 2 year production? I don't need a car today and would prefer the last year...
- When can we confirm the 992 is going to be exclusively turbocharged
If the GTS is the last n/a 911 - I'm in with Euro delivery. Probably with a manual tranny.
While I'm not very big on the 991; I now have a 993 to play with and can recognize the end of an era when I see it. An end thanks to government regulation as opposed to an answer to a question Porsche owners were asking.
Also, the back end looks much better on the 2GTS version compared to the standard 2S. Those vents between the rear lights really finish that shelf area nicely.
This car is basically a 50th without the froo-froo **** and a much better pricetag to boot.

If the $ are correct, looks like about $2K off the X51, considering I would delete the Alcantara and center locks. I'm not sure how I feel about the smoked headlights - they look better with some colors more than others. I emailed my dealer but it's after 7PM here and haven't heard back.

Yeah, I just emailed my dealer that I'll most likely take the allocation they offered me after the 2nd PTS delay on my C4S. Would still like PTS but I'm a little gun-shy at this point since my September build has morphed into February. Dark Blue Metallic is lovely and, I feel, under ordered. Getting the GTS will hinge on being able to get the Espresso/Cognac two tone interior and 5 bolt wheels, though. Looks like we should know all the details pretty soon.

Hmmm, doesn't look any different than mine. Kind of disappointed. It's a 4s with sport design front end and black headlights with black tailpipes. Was hoping it would have a few more changes like the cayman GTS front end does. Seems to just be some package items grouped together for a little discount. I understand being excited for it if you don't already have a 991 but certainly not worth upgrading too. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not disappointed I always expected this to be a parts bin exercise with minimal incremental unique features ...
