The SD side mirrors; they look always better than the stock side mirrors.

And the wood trim looks surprisingly good with red. I know there are some people who don't like wood trim with 911s; but if it looks this good, what's not to love?

Congratulations!! It's gorgeous!!!!

I've been debating the aluminum pedals for some time. How do you like them? Do they help with heel-toe shifting? Any slipping if your shoes are damp?

Thanks!!!

Great color! Great wheels! Great mirrors! I wish I had them. Oh wait, I do! And you even have a 993! You know what they say about great minds!

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. I have to give most of the credit for the color combo to my wife - she is the artist and it's her car!
Here is our other "woodie":

Love the wood trim. You really don't see that much. Congrats and enjoy.

Thank You for all of you guidance on his forum. Last March you saved us from trying to get a two toned black and red interior by piecing it out when it as not available as a package for MY 2014. That would have been awful!
Cheers

On what vessel did your car came on? I thought all the west coast cars are coming through port ofSan Diego and I have not seen any ships lately bringing any Porsches there

Nice job skipping the sunroof while getting Sport Chrono and PASM Sport. The roofline without the sunroof is sweet!

Thanks for the info. So it took 12 days from when it arrived in SD till it was delivered to you? Wow that's a long time. My car arrives tomorrow morning and I'm trying to figure out when it will be ready to be picked up at the dealer.

Yes the last 12 days were very difficult for me as the car sat in SD at the port, especially after seeing it cross the Ocean and through the canal.
Dealer said it normally takes 7 days after port arrival to reach Marin County but it is out of their control as PNA conducts the shipping.

Regardless my dealer did a fantastic job- the haul truck arrived at 3 pm Saturday and they prepped and had me in the car by 5:30, in time to enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend with the 911.
It's a fantastic car.
