With the lowered ride height, perhaps the SPASM lip does help a very tiny bit and then gets balanced with more rear wing angle.
However, it is nothing that significant.
For anyone who thinks that is a big deal, How can you not have AeroKit Cup on your car?

I have PASM and just got the lip - huge difference at speed, the car's front is planted, the way it was on my 997. Can't believe a $300 installed mod could make such a dramatic difference!!

Wow! I ticked the PASM-S when I purchased. I found that the 991 is far superior to the 997 I had in terms of handling . So different that it feels like a different car. Not even close.

you can replace the pasm springs/struts with the sport pasm springs/struts. it is a much harsher ride... but it feels much more glued to the ground.

Was anyone able to definitively determine the answer to this (or did it)?

Good string as I was under the misconception that it was just the springs.

sadly I think the answer is no ...

I think we know the following:

its at least:
- springs
- spoiler lip
- reprogramming rear wing

it may be:
- stiffer anti-roll bars

it could even require:
- new shocks
- new PASM controller

I Think that about sums it up ...

If I were going to do this, I simply go with Damptronics and a TPC DSC and maybe their roll bars too

As Larry noted, there's a lot more to it. Even if possible, it would be very cost prohibitive. I know there are different anti-roll bars for sure.

The only way to research the parts for it, would have to include two cars with and without the option and doing a search by VIN number with a Porsche Parts Dealer. Even that wouldn't give you all the answers most likely other than major parts.

+1 and you need to know the I*** variant codes in PET to decode the parts lists

probably better off going with TechART/HR lowering springs (or fit the OEM PASM-S) a KW H.A.S or Damptronics for the full monty (& a DSC)

^^^ yes!

The OEM route would be $$$$$$$

One option that's good to have on the build. Not an easy one like adding a duck! One on those that were on my must have list.

I agree, if PASM-S had been available on the cabriolet or I had ordered a coupe PASM-S would have been a must have (along with a duck) on my options list.

I personally feel that for current PASM owners that want to "upgrade" their suspension, probably the most economic and easiest route is Damptronic
coilovers, and TPC-Racing DSC+anti roll bars ... should be able to do that
for around $4-5k ... and its an easy install, hardest part is shock replacement
and alignment.

Overall I think that would result in a better system for the $

Now, for the other side of the question: would it be just as much of a hassle/expense to change in the other direction...that is, to go from SPASM to PASM? I'm looking for a refined GT more than an aggressive/track car, and so in my search I have been passing over all of the cars that have the SPASM option...and there have been plenty. My guess is that it would be equally difficult, but I had to ask.

More cars don't have SPASM than do. No cabs have it either.

Your search should be easy.

In reality, 10mm isn't going to make a world of difference. Your tire pressure and brand of tires will make more of a difference in ride comfort.
