Full leather interior or 18way sport seats w/ SPASM
There are two well equiped 991's C2S i'm looking at, both have:
7MT
PSE
SC
PDCC
Premium Pkg Plus
etc
bother silver/blk, the difference between the cars are:
option 1:
full leather interior w/ 14 way seats
option 2:
18 way seats and SPASM
Me: Will replace my 987.1 Boxster, used to track my car 4-5 times a year but now its 1-2x . Live in San Francisco, CA. Car will replace my boxster and current commuter car, but I take the train to work most days.
What say you rennlist? Full leather or 18 + SPASM?

Cars are priced basically the same, I've never seen a full leather car on the lot and I'm not sure if you need SPASM if you get PDCC. I guess I'm looking for opinions on those features.

Option 1.
The 18 ways are overkill. I never even touch the controls, some like the front seat extension I can easily live without. Honestly, I'm not that big and think the seats pinch my thighs - not grip, pinch.
SPASM is nice, but it's unlikely you will notice much difference (well, you won't ground as much).
Not having the leather interior you will regret every time you look at the door trim or the dash though....

Why are you buying the car? To get the better deal in terms of the dollar cost of options? In that case you might as well toss a coin. While you're at it throw in a couple other cars. Long as its all about features, why not? Or maybe you're buying it for driving enjoyment? In that case buy the one you enjoy driving.

Since both cars have PDCC you probably don't need SPASM. Since you are only tracking the car 1-2 times a year you really don't need SPASM.
Do you really need 18 way seats over 14 ways seats? IMO both are both overkill. The full leather interior is nice... commensurate with six figure car.
My vote is option 1.

My car is equipped with w/14 seats and full leather. The seats are comfortable, provide enough grip for me and I like that the back is covered in leather. But I like the shape of the w/18 seats as well. I would be fine with both.
But I dont think I could live without leather. Every time I get in the car I am stunned about how good it looks. Some skip it because of the additional weight. Which is a bit ridiculous, IMO.
I skipped SPASM because I was afraid it could be too low for where I live. The ride is great without, I dont miss it, but some say, the car feels more connected with SPASM. And: It makes the car look just a little bit more agressive. In the end, I would rather go for #1.

Did you have a preference? I was going to guess option 2 with the SPASM given both are MT.
If you are comfortable with both - why not just see which one you can get the best price on - it's great to have options!
We could get even more subjective if you tell us the color of ext and int.

I have 18 way seats and really don't use the side bolster feature at all. I think the 14 way seats are more than adequate. With the full leather, you get a nicer looking door trim with the painted plastic shiny stripe down the door, which I think looks really nice. I believe the A pillars also go from plastic/leatherette to leather. All nice touches that make you feel like the car is a little more high end.
If you want to track it, you may prefer #2...if you want a pretty sweet commuter car, you will love. #1 every time you get in.
I vote #1

I would pick option 2 because of tracking. My car, which I picked from the lot, has 14-way and I hate it because it lacks lateral support by my shoulder and I'm not a wide guy. SPASM lowers your car which is good for both looks and center of gravity. PDCC is not even offered with the GT3 because it takes away the real feeling.
