I would HOPE that if you have money to buy a $150K GT3, that you aren't scraping to save up for it. So, if you have the means, a $200K GT3 wouldn't be that much of a stretch. Just my 2 cents.

As long as there are buyers who are willing to pay, the sellers will continue to hike up the asking price. If you own an item that is worth $160k, and you have buyers who are willing to pay $200k, tell me you are not going to sell it for $200k. Besides, 25% bump is not outrageous considering you can buy a first released iphone for double the price, or spend $130k for a '94 RS America.
Many of you want to portray yourselves as frugal and savvy car buyers. Oh please, you are all one percenters on this board anyways, plus you bought cars from the most profitable car company in the world. You, without a doubt likes to spend money as much as the next P car owner.
Besides, I don't think the guy who spends $200k for a $160k car is really a wasteful, un-savvy, or pretentious schmuck. In fact, I think straw buyers are buying up the latest and greatest cars, any brand. Exporting is huge business. The buyers are probably students, or retirees, hired by exporters. And the cars are probably on a container ship the week after they picked them up.
