OK, 3 thigs you can do:

1) Sell it
2) Buy the "S"
3) Learn to become a better driver

Gee, wow. you certainly made him sorry he dared to post anything

The Base model from what I understand is the preferred model in Germany. It's plenty fast and certainly faster than prior S models. If you want nauseating acceleration may I suggest a Tesla? It will blow the doors off most p cars.

As I guy who traded a 2021 Tesla Model S, I can confirm this statement. My 911 c2s and Tesla are roughly the same speed in a straight line but the 911 is 10x more thrilling due to the experience of the PDK and flat six. Plus as soon as you turn the steering wheel the 911 comes even more alive.

For reference, take a look at the Car and Drive review of the new Model S Plaid. Their description of the handling at speed is terrifying and goes a long way towards explaining why I sold mine.

Even 162 mph was terrifying, wandering and nervous to the point that we were concerned about our ability to shepherd it between lane lines. The steering doesn't firm up enough with speed, making the task more difficult. At similar velocities, a Taycan is resolutely stable. Another reason to fear a 200-mph speed is brakes that got soft during our testing. Although our braking regimen isn't nearly as severe as what a racetrack demands, a warning message reporting the brakes' demise popped up on the dash. Between the flappability at high speeds and the iffy brakes, our helmets are way off to former FIA GT racing driver Andreas Simonsen, who piloted the Plaid to what must have been a harrowing 7:35 Nürburgring lap.

My recommendations are as follows:

Wheels - (lighting up the rotating mass is big time power gains.) I went for the avantGuard wheels on my 13C2S and noticed the difference right away. Saved roughly 10 lbs. on the front per wheel and 15 lbs. on the back.
Exhaust - Went with the SOUL cat back and there again saved weight but allowed the car to breath better. Certain felt the power gain in the midrange!
Headers - Ordered myself a pair of SOUL high flow headers with 200 cel cats (no check engine light) Mustang Dyno confirms +25 rwhp gain in the midrange and 15 on top.
Plum - IDP offers a plum thats proven 15 rwhp

Other then super charging (which will get you 500+) thats about all your able to do to the non-turbo cars. My S should be in the mid 450'ish range which is GTS power+.....which I'm fine with.

Very interesting observation about the variation in low RPM power between the 2 COBB tunes!

I had headers on my older 996 3.4L and they made a nice difference, but the new motors benefit quite a bit from them. On the 3.4L we've seen 25hp/25tq with them. Quicker throttle response, faster revving, its just a nice add on. With the SOUL headers, you don't need to worry about longevity and we back them with a no-bs lifetime guarantee for the craftsmanship, street OR track. You will notice an increase in upper rpm power as the car pulls to redline. They definitely add some rawness to the volume and more pitch at the higher rpm. Its an often overlooked mod that most of us in the business actually start with, as do the Cayman S/GTS 3.4 drivers.
