I cant believe we went SIX pages and we get this:
Here is 2 real GOOD reasons why NOT:
ONE: Lets say you have like I did in the early 2000's GugysTT. OK I live in SoCal. So every Dick Tom and stupid, starts fu@king with me on the highway. Every Cadillac STS or Eldorado is going to show that stupid dick in the German car that THIS is America!! So at every light every two lanes to one they cut me off race me down the passing lane etc etc. So I can get pissed to and I have more power so I cut off 3 or ten of these Yahoos and my wife says that if I makes somebody gets mad, its going to be alot easier to remember GugysTT then 4W22381. Yea I didnt realize what could be done if they remembered my plates.
TWO:A fellow 993 owner had a REALY easy plate to remember like Cal911 or something like that. Well he was following an old couple down a road that just the week before had a passing lane. Now it was double yellow. The couple was going 45 in a 65 so he took off anyway. Well 2 weeks later he got a notice from the CHP saying that he had been turned in for passing on a double yellow. This was a courtesy notice but the next time could be a citation. I dont know the laws in every state but I do know that these citations have been known to cause cancer to people in California.
So there is really TWO good reasons not to spend money on a vanity. Some people are not so happy that YOU have a car 10 times better than them and they will write your cute saying down and turn you in
Well, I never had one but why not? Maybe avoid the thread if it's that annoying to you? I get a kick out of reading them - some are quite clever with so few letters/numbers to work with. How about:
MENOTU (three words).

Wive's tale. Like flashing your lights are a gang sign. Based on your locale OG, and driving a $150,000 High Profile car, I would be more concerned that the CHP would spot you and your car REGARDLESS of what your plate said.!. In LA and other metro areas, expensive cars are everywhere. Where you roll, you are really standing out. I know a bit about LE as you can see by my log on. Perhaps you should change yours so you aren't so obvious EH?
