Great observations. PTS on a base works for some people. As an example I'd rather run a C2 in Maritime with Sport Exhaust than a base Silver C2S. Sure the S is faster but the sight & sound of the non S in Maritime is appealing to some.

PS Attached is the PTS list dated 1/23/2014. I should have an updated PTS list at any moment!

Yes, I believe Maritime and Voodoo are both underappreciated. Very rich, striking blues. And for a darker blue with a purple hue, Cobalt is very pretty, too.

Personally I think it's brilliant.

Does anyone know if any other auto manufacturer makes as many color and vehicle options as Porsche does?

Bentley are pretty extensive with certain colours & you used to be able to do your own exclusive shade of colour with Aston Martin which they would name after you. They would even name the colour on a plaque on the car, so you could have "Eduardo blue".

Yes, I would like that! 'Albert Blue' has already been done at Porsche. It was a 1971/1972 standard color offering on the 911. It was said at the time that the 'Albert' in the color was named after Prince Albert of Belgium, who was a devoted Porsche fan & customer! So I would be in good company if 'Porsche Exclusive' adopts the ways of Aston Martin!

PS We can also easily see the popularity of a 'Mondrian Grey' or a 'Marcus Grün' color offering!

Default Mondrian

Piet Mondrian might turn in his grave if we put grey next to his name

Attachment 851138

I prefer Mondrian colour on items I can carry such as my bike

Attachment 851139

Or even in the car on passenger seat (still possible to carry)

Attachment 851140

But definitely doesn't look good on items I can't carry

Bruce that's a beautiful color. I'm a little partial to Mexico, but wow. What options do you have, mileage, etc.

I almost did...until the salesman told me they would have no idea when I will receive my car.

It's not really for sale (never say never right). It's an '06 C2 6spd with 23k miles, heated black sport seats, carbon wheel, carbon console, carbon package, white faced gauges, Bose, sport chrono & factory fire extinguisher. Outside PASM, 19" classics and painted headlight washers & model script.

It MSRP'd at around $92k. If there is a more appealing C2 in the US I will eat my hat.

I bought it with 3.5k miles in 2009 from an octogenarian tired of driving a stick.

I have the same problem with my girls (must be similar age 8&9), as soon as they appear in a car pic they just ruin the shot as they take all the attention away and make the cars look so pointless & dull.
