Default Blacked-out front fender lights

Has anyone ever seen these? Suncoast states that they're a Porsche Exclusive part, but I've never seen an option for them and I don't think they're part of my MY14 blacked-put xenon headlight option. They look like a perfect addition to the headlights.

Does the bumper have to be pulled for the install? Great match for the optional black headlights.

If you ordered black headlights from Factory, you should have these. They came as a whole package, look into the configurator.

The bumper lights that came with my MY14 black headlights do not have the black trim in the Suncoast pictures.

If you look at the configurator, when you select black PDLS, you get the darker bumper lights aswell.
Unless the configurator is wrong

The configurator shows the bumper lights going to a smoked trim. Suncoast's are definitely black. I may just call them.

I wanted to bump this thread to try to get clarification from anyone out there in the know.

I have now seen the front bumper lights in three distinct forms. With the regular, clear headlights, the bumper lights are clear. With the blacked-out headlights, I have seen smoked bumper lights (as on my current car) and also blacked-out bumper lights (on a 911_50).

I really like the blacked-out bumper lights because with most colors, they optically fix the "curled-lip" mis-design (that Porsche will almost certainly correct with the facelift). For my new car, I did not intend to order the blacked-out headlights. However, their cost from the factory is the same as the cost of the aftermarket blacked-out bumper lights from Suncoast. So if I thought I could get the blacked-out headlights and bumper lights together from the factory, I'd order them.

Can anyone out there with more intimate knowledge shed any light (pun intended) on this?

Not sure if it helps but I have a 911-50 with blacked out headlights as a factory option. I haven't seen smoked bumper lights. My bumper lights look black, like these from Suncoast.

I tried taking a pic of my set up but getting a good photo to show the black is difficult.

Reviving an older thread.

Does anyone know conclusively what it takes to replace one of these front lights?

I noticed that I have a chip in my "new to me" 2015 GTS. It is not really all that noticeable (took me three weeks to notice it) but it is going to bug me, so I would like to replace it.

Yes you must pull the bumper - I did this job and replaced these, Plan on spending a couple of hours on the job. You can find videos via Google and search for instructions here.

You can always use the precut films that are sold. Ive always use them as an alternative to getting the smoked look for my lights.
