You can rent ANYTHING in Los Angeles...for a price of course. I rented a MINI last time I was there, wanted something that was fun to drive and zippy. Considered a Boxster but couldn't rationalize the price for the actual amount of driving I'd be doing (100 miles over four days). 911 rental prices were absurdly high in my opinion.

Last time I was at LAX Hertz, they had a brand new California for only $3K per day, with a 100 miles per day limit.

About $700 for ca. 6 days for a Silver Car Audi A4 out of LAX. More money, but much less of a PITA than traditional rental companies. Highly recommended.

Check out relay rides. Last time I was in SF I rented a 997 C2S for under $200/day all in. Great experience for a little more than the cost of a mid size sedan from one of rental chains out of SFO. Highly recommended.

Good. That means I don't travel as much as I thought.

Guess I'll go book a flight somewhere
