Default To wrap or not to wrap?

I decided to go with Xpel clear wrap for my car. Just can't decide if to get just the complete front end done with the rocker panels or wrap the entire car. Looking for experiences with both the full wrap and partial wrap from all of you. Thanks ahead of time.

I just got a new couch, decided to cover the whole thing in plastic instead of just the arm rests.

^My grandmother had sofas like that. And plastic carpet runners.

I hate clear bra. I'd rather do a little Dr Color Chip and respray a bumper if required.

OTOH, it is great community service. The next rennlister who buys your car will get one in perfect condition and get to enjoy the paint finish.

As funny as this all seems, which I love the comments they are too funny I have had 3 other Porsches over the years and all of them received many rock chips to my disappointment. The roads where I live unfortunately never really clean up. I want to prevent rock chips since this will be the one that stays with me.

I did half front only. I hate it but I just went for the highest risk areas only. It works but I still don't like it.

Personally, the cars I ultimately admire the most are the ones that have clearly been driven, driven hard even, but very well cared for and thoroughly enjoyed. If you've read some of my other posts and comments I am pretty meticulous with my cars, but not obsessive. I told someone recently I don't want to be the guy that says "look at how perfect my car is and how few miles it has!"... I would rather see some imperfections here and there and say "I got that chip on an epic drive in the mountains" or "I had to touch it up a bit after a few track sessions last summer..."

I also make it a point to sit on the living room furniture from time to time!

I would love to know the answer to this. I don't know if either of these form a thick enough layer to actually help in preventing rock chips, etc.

It is my understanding they are more of a protection polymer like zaino, regex etc... just a thicker, better quality applied professionally that forms a base coat to subsquent applications of polish/wax, etc.
