Let me also agree with the OP that it's more important to select your installer then selecting the material. Chances are you'll go with the product thy're most comfortable recommending & guaranteeing - it's how I came to SunTec Protection Film, my guys swear by the stuff. So Xpel, 3M or SunTec I'm thinking it's all good.

Even better, can you use carnauba over Modesta? According to the website Modesta is constructed of 3D molecules. How will they interact with the old-fashioned carnauba waxes 2D molecules?
But this can wait. Right now I'm off to Stuttgart with a boatload of Modesta. With its negative drag coefficient I figure two, three coats, all they'll do is drop the clutch and the 919 will have so much negative drag the air will suck it right to the finish line!
