GT Silver
I placed an order for an Agate Grey Turbo, and the order is going to lock at the end of this week. I am struggling with whether to change the color to GT Silver I know these things are subjective, but is GT Silver worth another $3,000? I have not seen it in person, but it looks nice in pictures. Thanks.

I was at the New York auto show the weekend before last. They had a 918 spyder on display. It was a silver color and it looks like liquid metal. Michael would be to go for that color although I'm not exactly sure what the name of it is.
The matter what color you choose I'm sure the car will be and look great.

IMO extra 3k for a slightly different shade is not worth it. Silver cars- stay looking clean longer, don't get as hot in a sun, and according to AAA have lowest accident rate. If the car is silver I am happy.
GT silver and PCCB is included on TTS. If you have to have GT silver consider TTS depending on other extras you getting you and your budget
The Turbo S is GT silver
The C2 is rhodium silver

I spent a lot of time trying to decide between Agate, GT, and Rhodium. I visited several local dealers that had cars in all three colors so I could compare them side by side. I ended up with GT Silver and don't regret spending the money at all. Pictures here.

As you said it's all personal preference but I believe interior color should also influence your decision. If you selected espresso/cognac then go with agate gray since it has a little brown in it. If black or red interior, then GT Silver looks great. The Rhodium silver has a distinct blue cast (similar to Polar Silver) so make sure that's acceptable. Again, interior color will play a role in the overall appearance.

I ordered the two tone interior - agate grey/pebble grey. It is a light leather. I have basically the same exterior/interior color combo (Corris Grey/Cirrus Grey) in my Range Rover Sport and it looks great.

This is a matter of personal preference, obviously, but I will say that the two silvers look pretty different when seeing them side-by-side in person. I had long wanted GT Silver, so I had it on my must-have list this time around. I do like Rhodium, as well ... it has a blue tint to it and otherwise reminds me of polar silver (though Eduardo tells me polar silver has even more blue tint).
