I finally heard back from PNA through my dealer on whether I can get deviated stitching on my seats and deviated leather on the center of the wheel. The answer for 2015 is no. Btw I am ordering two toned black and red interior on a 911 S. I guess it's too early to order such things!!

Did your dealer say when they'll take orders and give out build dates?

They took my deposit and order and I was told I have an allocation and the dealer will give me in two days the build date. We shall see....

I was hoping to see some new options for exterior color and wheels.

Default Reversing Camera on the 991

Well, what I originally posted is not quite true. The regulation has been pushed back several times. Today came news that the Reversing Camera will not be mandatory until vehicles manufactured after May 2018. That means that until MY2018, Porsche will probably continue to offer them as an option and will not be standard. But you never know.

There are apparently systems that allow you to install a reversing camera to your 991 today. Suggest you read up the contents of this thread at the gt3 forum:

I just noticed that the clear rear lights are available for the 4s. Does anyone know if these are new for 15?

Clear tail lights with the red connector strip? Or would this option change the connector strip to clear, as well? I like clear tail lights on certain cars (they look terrific with rhodium silver, for example), but I'm not so sure these would go well on a 991 C4S unless the connector strip were changed to clear, as well. But even then I'd have to see it first before deciding. To answer your question, I don't believe clear tail lights were available for MY2014.

Taillights AND strip are clear glass. Confirmed by dealer.

I think the only color where it would make some sense is with Guards red.... But it's very subjective of course. I never really liked clear taillights anyways. It reminds me too much of an Aston Martin. Not that it is a bad thing, but a Porsche should look like a Porsche and not like an Aston IMHO.

Good to know. Thanks, Suzy. Well, at least they will keep the strip consistent with the tail lights. Otherwise, it would look rather strange, I imagine. If someone gets this option on their MY2015 C4S, I hope he/she will post a photo of the tail.
