At this point ordering a base 2015 must be worth the effort and wait. Anyone know the cutoff date for 2014s? Here in San Diego left over 2014s will be discounted when the 2015s arrive.

I wouldn't, the difference will probably not be worth waiting 6-9 months for. The 2013 and 2014 I can't tell any difference and the 2013's are still going for about full price. But if you don't think you will be driving it much for a few months maybe your situation calls for the wait or financial considerations etc.

I am 6'8" and only fit in a 991 without a sunroof, and then I clear by a mile. The sunroof, even though it opens outward robs at least 2 inches of headroom toward the back where it matters.
Beautiful no sunroof black CPO 991s at my local dealer... Hennessy Porsche. I am waiting for my GT3 :-). Its certified and has 19k miles. Its 89k I believe. No sunroof makes a world of difference.
