Default just realized I left park assist out of my order

went over the order 20 times and did not realized it was missing. Car arrived yesterday only to realized there were no sensors on the bumpers…Any thoughts on those who don't have it (besides the fact the bumpers look cleaner)?

bummer...I debated getting front sensors so I could use a front plate mount solution, but I went for both anyway. I felt rear was a must-have on a wide body...park carefully!

You'll be just fine. Your bumpers look better without the sensors.

Unless you are parking in the big cities with minimal space, you should be fine provided you have learned the basics on how to park.

I would say the front of the car extends a bit further than I expected (or is visible) if you're using the headlights as reference points, so just don't pull forward as far as you think you can. But in general, it's no worse to park than any other car.

This is a tiny sports car. I couldn't imagine needing help parking it. The cabin has 50 years of refinement to help make visibility as optimal as possible. You'll be just fine.

Its not about helping you be better at parking its about giving you information about moving or static objects such as kids, pets, bikes and other cars in close proximity to your bumpers. If you park in office or shopping areas with stacked parking then there are pillars to look out for. Ever notice how many of those pillars have car paint on them? The sensors help in many ways and are so common now that most people don't even notice the appearance. Good to have IMO.

IMHO if you can get cameras installed it is better than park assist

Just my humble opinion, I don't think you'll miss it at all.

Cayenne or Macan it's worthwhile; not so much on a sports car.

+1 on this. The rubber "chin strip" (curb feeler) is lower than concrete parking stops. You must be very careful you don't pull up too far. My 991 didn't have PA either and I'm looking for cameras for both ends.

^ this. I'm extremely afraid I'm going to smash my front spoiler some day.

Park Assist is not a great feature, IMHO. It will only indicate the presence of things you can see anyway. Not reliable at all for the sort of low curbs and concrete berms that are the real hazards in parking lots.

Just tape one of these to each corner of the car and you'll be fine!
