I chose not to do the steering wheel in deviated stitching was worried over the years it would show dirt from my hand and sweat dis coloring it over the years!!

covered the vents in leather cuz I didn't like the aluminum outline! Chose black stitching for the same reason not to stand out!

Another back seat pic! The leather cover of the speaker and the handle to pull the back seat flat was a great option for me cuz again I didn't like the aluminum handle on top of the seat!

Another pic of the leather back 18 way seat covers with the stitching'. I didn't like the fact that Porsche uses a silver composite for their backs on the 18 way!! The leather backs really make it look complete! Oh well

One final picture of the dash with a the leather! Love it!!! A side note to a other reason why I added all that leather to the dash, biggest reason is this is my dream car, I am keeping it! Over the years the plastic of the sports chronic package and the plastic speaker covers will fade and look different colors over the years! With leather it will look uniform even after many years!!

Hope this gives u all a little insight to my thoughts! Thanks for your comments! All are appreciated!!

Wolf. It came out very nice. But your dealer needs to work a little bit harder to come up to speed in 'Porsche Exclusive' options. The default stitching on a 'Black' leather interior is NOT 'Black'. That is why on those few leather options in your car you decided to leave WITHOUT deviating stitching (e.g. steering column casing) the thread used is still 'grey' (not 'black') and does not match the lighter/brighter 'Pebble Grey' deviating stitching elsewhere in your interior. The only darker stitching you got was in the steering wheel because that is the default stitching that comes with it. That is not an option. That is standard. All the actual thread used by Porsche in all their stitching is synthetic and quite resistant to fading & discoloration. The lighter/brighter 'Pebble Grey' stitching in your car will clean up just as well as the darker 'grey' default stitching in the other panels!

Enjoy your car and enjoy European Delivery. We are all envious!

Eduardo

So as a newbie to this porsche-dom, and a UK resident, i need to know one thing.... Now you've 'picked your car up' what the heck do you do next? Presumably you fly back to the US and have to wait nnn painful weeks for it to land on the States soil? You've got yourself a beautiful car, had a great experience and i sincerely hope you don't go stir crazy on the long journey home. Hats off to you 👍

You're a man after my own heart wolf... Spec the car for keeps... Love it for as long as that might be...
My dealer (!?!) rang me today to say he hopes to have my car ready friday. Thankfully i have one hell of a busy work schedule tomorrow and Thursday. Friday is good... We have a bank holiday weekend here in the UK
Hope the return flight goes smoothly and you have lots of great memories to keep you excited about what's going to turn up at your door in 6-8 weeks!
