+3 on the deviated stitching. With white/espresso, the contrast would really make it pop. Forgoing this would be an opportunity lost, IMO.

I've sold lots of Black/Brown cars. At Mercedes we had a Designo 'Espresso edition' which was a metallic Black with a bronze fleck, and saddle interior and it was very popular. At Bentley we sold several cars with this combination, and at Ferrari Black on Cuoio or Cuoio Sella was reasonably common on the 612. Most of these browns were lighter though. The darker the brown, like Espresso, the more challenging to make it look right with black, in my opinion.
The Basalt Black/Espresso car is nice, and certainly I would be proud to have it in my driveway. But If I were to order that car for stock, I would probably try to add some contrast to the interior. For example I would add Carpet in deviating colour (black) and I would change the trim to either Carbon Fiber or painted black. Also add leather covered seat backs to get rid of the grey.
Another option would be to add contrast beige stitch, Leather seat backs with beige stitch, beige gauges and beige sport chrono, beige leather edged floor mats etc.
Of course this will add $10k to the price!!

Thanks for your input regarding color combos. It's always nice to hear the opinion if someone with your knowledge who has seen almost very color combo in the book!

I was just looking into normal espresso interior. Black top, new Turbo wheels, sport design mirrors and steering wheel with PDK, chrono and sport exhaust. And now it comes down to black exterior or white. Porsche Exclusive rep really likes black with espresso but says a lot of Americans may not like that combo (more appealing to Europeans and their style). I can see the black espresso as being sleek, luxurious, and sexy. And I can see the white as exhilarating, yet relaxing and fun (plus easier to keep clean). This would be a car for drives along an ocean coastal highway during the day as well as formal evening events.

I know you say black or white but anthransite is a good color with espresso. I have that exterior with espresso cognac and get great compliments. Just another angle to consider.

It was also interesting to see up close a Panamera turbo executive done up in basalt black/espresso. Very luxurious. Was designed by Porsche in Germany (not the dealer) and given to Beverly Hills Porsche to sell. Just arrived, on sale now.

Of course this is a driver not at all for the track. I love the look. I wanted something different that not everyone else had. I really did not want the black interior as so many have that.
And as a bonus the leather is much nicer than the standard.
