I personally like the red lights better in combination with racing yellow. However I do like the clear lights on some other exterior colors.
Greetings

I prefer the red as well although the clear lights make the car "different". I think the clear go well with white and maybe black. They don't look bad but personally I would have left it.

Its kinda strange really, because I don't get the same reaction from the clear front side markers, but the clear tail light is just a bit off-putting. Is it being so used to seeing red tail lights? Or that there's still the red reflectors back there? Or something else? Hard to say. But I am impressed they can be changed out so easily!

Clear tail lights look best on black.

Clear on white is nice and it looks good on your yellow car, too. Love the yellow gauges!

It would be interesting to see this if a clear light bar was available for the C4 cars.
Still think I would keep the red though, with the red reflectors and brake calipers.

I agree. For me it's because the rear lower reflectors are still red.

Yeah, now you should order the Racing Yellow rear reflectors from BumperPlugs. That would rid the red in back.

Thanks for all the comments. I didn't know I would like it or not so I did not order the car with the clear lens but instead ordered them from Suncoast back in June. It actually cost about the same. After looking at the car for two months. I didn't like the red lens as they didn't match the clear headlights upfront (first pic). So I installed the clear lens. I know the small reflective lens are still there but it's small enough to not bother me that much. I know we are so used to the red tail lights... but who knows, I might get tried of the clear lens in a few months and can always change them back.

I definitely won't change mine if I have a "S" with those red calipers.

And if that happends, they would sell like hot cakes here on the Forum. Someone would pick those up fast. Your car looks great.
