I decided to get rid of my beloved 997.1 GT3 RS for something I can enjoy a little more. I thought I was going to hate the transition to anything that wasn't a GT car and surprisingly my experience is the opposite. While I have a love for the GT3 RS' fun factor, this car with PASM is still a very involved diving experience. The technology is these new 991 car's is really unbelievable and is what really made me fall in love. It's amazing that a car with ALL the luxuries and conveniences of a daily driver can still hang with the GT3's and RS' of the last generation on the track.
I just put winter tires on which is fun![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I would be worried about stone/rock chips from all the de-icing material put on the roads in Ontario (used to live in Toronto). Did you wrap the front end in clear bra? How is the stopping & starting traction in the snow? I live near Chicago now and the only way I would drive my 991S in the snow is with a completely wrapped front end!

Nice color combo! That is my planned combo as we'll, maybe Agate/Beige black two tone as I like the beige stitching on black dash. Is that Downturn Porsche? How was your experience dealing with them?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I almost made the switch to something Italian but after driving the new 991s, I was just too in love.
o2bcdn - The front end and rear fenders/mirrors are wrapped and thanks to Simplytire(for the snow tires) - the car performs fantastic in snow. I was actually out joy riding in the snow and climbed a large snow/ice covered hill while many others were stuck in it. I just have to watch snow depth since the car has PASM which lowers the car by 20mm.
mb97tts - The entry and drive was part of the premium package if I recall. After having it, not sure how I will ever NOT have it. Makes life so easy.
My experience with Downtown Porsche was amazing. My salesperson was Lee and I HIGHLY suggest him. He is not pushy and extremely knowledgeable. (His email is lsayadeth@dfcauto.com) They did all the leg work for me(licensing, full detail and polish), I literally sent the cheque, walked in and grabbed the keys. They gave me a tour of the features before I left which really helped considered how much damn technology these cars have![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Nice to have something I can enjoy 12 months a year since in Toronto, waiting for "perfect" conditions is rare.
