my concern is the aerodynamic balance ... all of this is designed as a package, if you mix and match ... as others have discovered (perhaps only on the track or the autobahn) it can result in potentially serious handling issues ...

but if all you want to do it look cool at cars n'coffee ... go for it ... personally
I'd simply go by a GT3 instead of creating a faux effect which is purely "poseur"

I don't know about where you live, but lightly used GT3s are being sold for above original MSRP. Certainly NOT cheaper to buy the real deal.

Not to jack the thread, however I really like the side sills they make, problem IS, they no longer make them. Talked to a Boost Logic in Austin about the defuser, may do that.

For what it is worth, did the GT2 kit on my 996.
