IMO the top should go with the interior colour, I prefer less contrast as well.
That's probably why Porsche offers 4 colour choices
Black Top ---> we all know this
Blue Top ---> Yacht Blue Interior
Red Top ---> Carrera Red Interior
Brown Top ---> Espresso Interior

I wish Porsche would have kept a gray color option for the top, for the platinum gray leather set-up.

Beautiful car. I love the agate/ carrera red combo, and red top helps pull the look together. I recommend getting PSE or another after-market enhancement to the exhaust. The sounds this car makes with the PSE are intoxicating (and I can only imagine how good it sounds with the top down). Congrats and enjoy!

Thank you all for your comment! I once parked it in the mall with the top up and it drew quite some attention from people Black top is always the most popular choice for both maintenance and resale but I intend to keep this vehicle for long, and after seeing a lot of cab with black top I guess the red would set the car apart from others.

If I had to do it over again, my car would have the red top and red interior. Exterior would be siver or white.
Black is nice but it's very generic and sooooo hard to keep clean.
